Macaroni and Cheese
(As typed by Nell Cook/Grandmother for Rori Elizabeth's Recipe Box Gift)
1 1/2 cups macaroni (shell or elbow)
6 ounces Velvetta Cheese (cubed)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper. or to taste
2 to 3 Tbsps. butter
1 cup milk
1 quart boiling water
Pour water into cooking pan.
add salt
Place pan on burner turned on high.
Add Macaroni and cook by directions
on package. Most of the water will be
evaporated. add cheese, butter, milk.
and black pepper. turn down heat and
let simmer until cheese is melted.
and at proper consistency.
Stir in as it melts so it won't stick.
Let set a little while before serving.
