Special K Cookies
(One of my sister, Treasure's, favorites!)As typed by my Grandmother (Nell Cook) for the recipe box she gave me.
1 cup sugar
1 cup White Karo Ssyrup (yes, that's my Grandmother's typo 😊)
1 Jar Peanut Butter (18 oz.)
4 of 5 cups Special K Cereal
or Cornflakes
Bring sugar and Karo to a boil
Remove from heat
Add Peanut Butter
Stir until smooth
Stir in Cereal
Drop by spoonsful on wax paper
*Grammatical fun fact: The plural of spoonful was once spoonsful, but spoonfuls seems to be the preferred form now.
